Congolese new super star De Plaizir has been chosen to perform at the first Africa Music Awards ceremony taking place this Saturday 27th December 2007 in London. The event is the first of its kind to be organised in London and the whole of Europe with an influx of African super starts, British and American stars of African origin. The event is expected to be broadcasted to over 10 milllions viewers worldwide and 2,500 live audiences consisting of the cream of de la creme of society.

To Deplaizir, this represents a better opportunity to showcase his talents and to prove his to people why he is the King of Pleasure and the prince of Congolese Soukouss music. Deplaizir will be performing live with his full band and dancing queens nicknamed The Pleasure Girls, sharing the stage with the likes of Akon, Angelique Kidjo, Youssou N'dour, Awilo Longomba, D'Banj and Many more african super starts.
